Our Workshop Events are designed to empower, educate and inspire future generations of new comers to Wheeled sports and urban counter culture. Each Outreach activity has been alligned with safety, fun and progression in mind. If you select our team to deliver and event with you, your people will get an exclusive access pass to an awesome sporting session with a top teir local athlete who is bursting with enthusiasm and knowledge to share with the group.

How does it work?
With Prior booking and event details confirmed, We visit a location of your chosing ( indoor or Outdoor ) bring our event and sporting equipment along with a highly experienced activity tutor and event safety manager. Once at the event location, we'll set up the event by creating a skills course or activity arena where the workshop will take place, sign off on the safety of the event as per our risk assessment and then invite a group in to get started with the activity.
We bring EVERYTHING needed to deliver a workshop, E.G. The bikes, helmets, ramps and coaches. Your group just need to arrive in clothing & footwear suitable for physical activity.
If your event is small ( less than 30 participants ) we can safely manage access to and from the event arena with clear communication and supervision. If you event is Public and or large ( over 30 - 100 participants + ) will will set up a security parameter with crowd control barriers to ensure safety and a '1 way in - 1 way out' access to the event workshop. If you are delivering an outdoor event to the poublic we will need you to provide the crowd control barriers.
Depending on event size and duration we intend for each participant to experience a minium of 20 minutes tuition from our Tutor. In this 20 min workshop, a participant can obtain and achieve a basic level 1 understanding of a new activty that we offer which includes:
- Warming up
- What the equipment is and how it works
- Basic balance and manoeuvering drills
- Changing direction & use of Brakes
- Basic Ramp use
- Sporting ettiquette
At The end of a Thunder Workshop session, we want our participants to feel impowered with knowledge and experience to take forward into exploring further into the activity they have learned. Our level 1 session is tailored to the absolute beginner and aims to lay foundations in confidence and control to build upon after we're gone.
Who can do it?
Our group activities are 'beginner age' specific, please see this displayed below:
- Urban Dance - From 4 years old to 14 years old
- Stunt Scooter - From 6 years old to 14 years old
- Skateboarding From 7 years old to 18 years old
- Parkour - From 7 years old to 18 years old
- BMX Biking - From 8 years old to 18 years old
- Aerosol Art - From 8 years old to 18 years old
We do offer activity sessions for children and young people with additional needs. Please contact us to discuss this opotion.
Where do we deliver our services?
Our event workshop services are available across Northern Ireland & The Uk mainland. We're Based in Belfast and may charge a long distance fee if your event location is further than 25 miles from our base.
Can you work in the rain?
No, Our activity sessions are classes as high risk, and to ensure the safety of all of our participants and staff, we do not offer any services for wet weather. To prevent the risk of adverse weather stopping play, we encourage the option of indoor activities in halls and indoor open spaces. ( we have a 'leave no trace' policy that ensures we will not mark or damage indoor flooring with our activities any more than the sole of a shoe would )
Insurance & Risk assessments?
We are comprehensively insured with 10 Million Public liability cover and provide our customers and partners with a detailed risk assessment ahead of any workshop activity taking place.

How does it work?
With Prior booking and event details confirmed, We visit a location of your chosing ( indoor or Outdoor ) bring our event and sound equipment along with a highly experienced activity Stunt Team and event safety manager. Once at the event location, we'll set up the event by creating an event arena where the Stunt Show will take place, sign off on the safety of the event as per our risk assessment and then let the team practice for thr Display.
Our Stunt show performances last 20 - 30 minutes per display and we integrate this into your event programme so you and your crowds know when Stunt shows are happening at our event arena. Thunder Stunt Displays come with an articulate and charismatic MC to announce the show and deliver energetic commentary throughout the performance along with live Music from our sound system. We provide a maximum of 4 Stunt performances per 6hr day.
We bring EVERYTHING needed to deliver our own Stunt event. We do need our event partners & clients to provide us with crowd control barriers to surround the event arena and provide us access to power to run our PA system.
