Delivery and Shipping Information

 

 

  • UK orders received before 11.55am are dispatched the same business day if the items are in stock at Thunder BMX  Shop Store location - We cannot guarantee all orders will be dispatched if placed after 12:00
  • Order are dispatched Tuesday - Friday as that is when couriers come to collect from us
  • ***Bikes are sent via Parcelforce Service due to size and are unable to be sent same day.
  • Tracked Order Info Emailed when dispatched
  • ALL BIKES are flat packed and require assembly once delivered by a professional mechanic for any warranty to be valid
  • Ready2Ride  - due to shipping constraints, we cannot ship a bicycle in a ready to ride condition. Ready to ride bikes can only be collected in person from our Store in Belfast. 

Due to our location we are unable to offer flexibility with our shipping services and rates. If required, you can always call us and upgrade your shipping once you’ve ordered to upgrade to a faster shipping option.

Key delivery information

  • Standard Delivery Service - For orders up to 2kg for Royal Mail Tracked 48 (2-4 working day service)
  • Bike Delivery - Bikes are sent via Parcelforce 48Hr service and will be dispatched / collected from us within 48 hrs of purchase.
  • All in stock orders received before 12 noon are packed and dispatched the same working day (excludes orders with special order items). This excludes Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays.
  • On occasion goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control.
  • ALL BIKES are flat packed and require assembly once delivered by a professional mechanic for any warranty to be valid.

Delivery Address

Delivery address must be the same as on the card statement. If you need it sending to a different address, we suggest you use PAYPAL as your payment method, you can use it as a guest without creating an account.

Special Order Items

Some of our items are Special Order. This means that we do not have it in stock, but our supplier should have it. You can see the live stock on the product page, if it allows you to add it to the cart then we are confident we can get it for you. Purchasing an item that is Special Order will DELAY the dispatch of your entire order. We will notify you via email if it is unavailable and where possible offer an alternative. Please check your emails and your junk folder.

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48 Service - Parcel scanned 5 times during delivery
  • PARCELFORCE 48Hr service - Parcel scanned 4 times during delivery

Royal Mail Delivery Terms and Conditions:
3.3.2 Non Account Tracked 48 and Non Account Tracked 48 with Signature, we will aim but do not guarantee to deliver your Item within 2 - 3 Working Days

Delays can occur from couriers and are out of our hands, Thunder BMX Shop do not accept responsibility for delays caused by Royal Mail or Couriers and your items will be delivered at the next possible chance they can be.

Overseas and European Orders

If we require extra postage from you we will contact you with an exact quote for your order once it is packed, weighed and measured. Items that are odd shaped like handlebars may incur an additional charge.

We use a range of courier to ship internationally depending on the price and time of delivery. If there is a specific courier you want us to use from our available list please enquire and we will do our best.

International Shipping Terms and Conditions:

We use multiple different couriers for overseas shipping for best delivery experience. This could be UPS, Fedex, DHL etc depending on the country. We only use reputable couriers when sending and all tracking is sent via email and attached to your order invoice in our computer system.

International Orders can take 2-3 business days for dispatch due to the manual booking we must do.

DUE TO BREXIT YOU WILL BE CHARGED IMPORT TAX AND DUTY ON IMPORT INTO YOUR COUNTRY

Thunder BMX Shop will not be responsible for any Import Tax, Duty or Costs incurred for the item to arrive in your country. These are the responsibility of the buyer. We ship Delivered Duty Unpaid which means Thunder BMX Shop is not liable for any import costs, such as VAT, duties, and clearing fees. Please check with your local authority on what charges you may incur.

Customs charges will be requested from the courier once it enters your country, this is the responsibility of the customs and not Thunder BMX Shop, and must be paid before delivery. Failure to pay these charges will result in the package being sent back to us and your shipping charge will not be refunded.

International shipping prices

Shipping is calculated at checkout automatically, if an option for your country doesn't show or there is a problem please email us at hello@thunderactionsports.com and we can add it in for you.
