Welcome to Thunder BMX Shop

 From 9 years old i've always loved BMX. 

Not just the riding part but all of it, the tricks, the friendship, adventures, new parts, new faces, new places to go, building communities and experiencing other communities and cultures around the world. I proper LOVE BMX.

For the last 30 years i've seen and been a part of 6 or more cycles of BMX in Northern Ireland. Riders and places to ride come and go but my passion for BMX never left me because there's just so much depth to BMX to enjoy. For 20 of my 30 years on a BMX i've travelled around Belfast, then N.I, then Ireland, then the UK, then Europe and beyond and each time i visit somewhere new, a little piece of that place leaves with me and i try to bring it back to Belfast and see if its fits.

For example, Skateparks, ramps, styles, attitudes, perspectives and trends. This combination of explorations has given me inspiration and motivation to build ramps and skateparks, start brands and event start a stunt show team. All of which have led me to this point. Never had i ever until this point had a BMX Shop! Sure I'd been fixing my mates bikes for a long time, but out of the back of my car or in my folks garage where there were tools for the job. I must admit, i always enjoyed fixing bike problems and getting my mates bikes going again. So when the opportunity presented its self to me i jumped blindly into the world of retail with full willingness to 'get it done' like i had with other projects in the past.

Thanks to my Pop & Dad, i found space for Thunder BMX Shop in the old family business premises in Belfast. An ex petrol station and mechanics garage called the 'ACE' Many thanks to my Dad for giving me the opportunity to live out another part of the life long BMX Dream.

Call in and expect a BMX geek to greet you with potentially more information and enthusiasm to help than you might want or need but my heart is in the right place. I'm beyond stoked to stock over 50 of the best BMX Brands and soon to be in the thousands of stock items to make sure I’ll have what you need when you need it, and if i don't have it - I’ll definitely try and get it for you ASAP.
